Do you and your dog struggle with anxiety?
Paws to Connect
Paws to Connect will help you learn to navigate anxiety, both within yourself and within your dog. Anxiety is a natural response to different stressors, but it can become a problem when it starts to interfere with your quality of life. This is a challenge that many people, and many dogs, face. It can be misunderstood, and as a result, many of those experiencing it can miss out on support that they truly need and deserve. Our mission is to offer this support to people and dogs on the journey of navigating anxiety. Blending approaches from human mental health counseling and canine behavioral intervention, we are here to bridge the gap between the mutual experience of anxiety between dog and person.
Join us for our Paws to Connect group, led by Alannah Smith, mental health counselor, and Ann Waterbury, certified canine behavior professional, at Sound Dog Connection. Held every other Sunday for four sessions, as available. Deep dive into the intersection of human and dog anxiety and walk away with a greater understanding of yourself, your dog, and practical solutions. Contact us for more information here.
Or, watch a recorded webinar that highlights some of the key content from our group. You can purchase access to the hour-long webinar through the Pet Professional Guild for $30 here.
